Message for Woy Hodgson - Pick James Tomkins!!!

The boy was immense last night and how he keeps getting ignored over Smalling, Jones and Caulker is beyond me. Chambers and Stones have potential but Chambers isn't doing it and Stones in my opinion more deserving of a call up than Tomkins.
So give the boy a chance Woy and throw him in for the next squad and let him compete with your two favourites Jagielka and Cahill.

Really like tomkins, I think he is the best footballer out of the 3 reid a bit more solid, both someway in front of collins for me, collins is so wholehearted and gives his all you have to love him

we have only coceeded 25 goals so far and only that is beatean by the current top 4 , and Villa for some strange reason.
Id still rather stick , so if we lose reid that will be a big loss .

Distin does but he is 37 and this may be his last season. Stones looks a good prospect.

You're right it is all about opinions and I'm accused of digging a player out for stating a fact.
FWIW I'd be happy with a Jagielka/Stones partnership at the heart of our defence for example.

If digging out a player is telling the truth about him then I've dug him out.
Point out where I've been factually wrong about Tomkins and let's discuss that.

Tomkin's isnt and never will be international level.
Struggled at U21 level.
He's same level as smelling and the like, certaintly no worse.
He would just get shown up in an England shirt...like Green did.

I think that we have three adequate centre backs at the moment. And one of them will be offered a lot of money to play elsewhere.

comma, what's your point? you think hodgson did a decent job at the world cup so what's the point discussing the England team when you dig out Tomkins yet think Woy the Owl is a competent England manager

He is equal to Collins , also gets the nod ahead of Collins recently .
Also with Reid off form they might both be better than he is currently .
So all are on equal footing . Don't see him as third choice currently .

No interest whatsoever in England for years now. The only value I can see in a call up for our players, is to convince an ambitious player that they don't need to go elsewhere to get noticed.
